Improved lending criteria to support your clients
As part of our commitment to supporting clients onto and up the property ladder, we continually review our underwriting approach across all areas. To further support your clients, we have made enhancements to our lending policy.
These changes are effective since 12th October for all new applications received from this date.
New Build Properties
We have updated our New Build proposition, increasing our maximum LTVs to 90% for houses and 80% for flats.
Secondary Taxable Income
For applicants in receipt of any bonus, commission or overtime, we have also increased the percentage we take for affordability from 25% to 50%. We still require evidence of track record of earnings to support this.
